Happy Holidays Blog Hop

I love this time of year, from Halloween to New Years. It brings so much joy to my life because it's the one time of year that all of our family gets together.  During this time is probably one of the busiest times for the post office due to massive amounts of greeting cards being send to friends and family.  In the spirit of sharing holiday cheer,  I would like to share with you some Holiday ideas for greeting cards, tag, and gift card holders.  Enjoy and pass along some Holiday Cheer!!!

This month we have 3 awesome guest hoppers
Yolanda Nixon (that's ME!)

So let’s jump right in.

Fall Card
Few tips about the Fall card: I used VersaMark to create the leaves, used the white embossing powder then used the heat tool to create the leaves. Sponged color over the leaves. Wiped excess ink with paper towel to reveal the white leaves. The yellow acorn was created by using the "kissing" method. Ink the solid acorn in crushed curry, ink the honey comb stamp in early espresso, then put them together to make the "kissing" effect. Once you stamp, you'll have the early espresso honeycombs on the crushed curry acorn.

Schoolhouse - with bookworm - "Welcome Back" to school
The school house opens on one side (on the roof) to add candy or a gift for teachers and students. The schoolhouse is about 5 inches tall which makes it a great party favor. For my next monthly Stamp A Stack of Cards Class, we will be using the same thinlits to make Halloween Houses.....SPOOKY!!!
